Bitpim Mp3 editor not working?!

I have been using bitpim for years, and absolutely love the mp3 editor. Just today upon hookin up my new a950 the mp3 editor in the ringer tab does not come up when I add a mp3 file. Of course I do not want to add the whoel mp3 file but want to clip and edit it like we always have. Anyone know why or how this happened?

I could be wrong, but I think bitpim has to support the phone in order for the mp3 editor to work.

Looks like mhe77 is right, I changed my bitpim phone setting back to vx8100 (verizon wire) even though I am not using it. It then allws me to edit mp3s. I edit them to what I want for ringtones and then simply switch back to my other cdma phone setting to add it to my a950 using the filesystem tab.
