RAZR V3: changed menu options, now some gone?

So this mornign, I was playing around with P2k Menu Editor, and took off the IM, and put on the AOL option. All of a sudden, my soft keys were re-mapped to the default (and the Video recorder option wasn't there anymore.) No big deal, I figured I'd go back in and re-organzie them to what Iwant. However, under Personalize - Home Screen - Home Keys, there is no option for the top left-hand button (on the flip), which by default is the "Voice Records" option. I change that to Bluetooth, so I can quickly drop my BT headset and pair with my PC. For the life of me, I can't figure out where the option went! I went back thru P2k Menu Editor, put back the IM (taking off th AOL icon), but it's still not there.

Any ideas?

edit: I'm talking abou the "Smart Key". I went and looked at a co-workers V3, and yep, she has the optiont o remap it. Mine's gone!

P2kMenuEditor makes a backup automatically did you try to put that back? Also check seem 0032_0001:

offset 0C - bit 1: Menu: Smart Key (1 on, 0 off)

I don't see how to restore the backup (if there is one.)

Yes, Bit 1 is checked.

Look in the P2kMenuEditor folder for the mma_ucp.backup file.

Hmmm...the only problem might be that I've already gone and changed it back, thinking that might be the cause. Unless it keeps multiple backups/undo's...which given my luck, I doubt.

Just checked my son's Orange V3...yep, it's there. Fortunately, I unbranded his phone, so it's stock Moto as well. Might rip the mma_ucp file from his phone and put it on mine, see what happens.

Well, unfortunately since I had already made another change, the backup file was the same as the first one, so no good. Noticed something else odd this morning: in a call, if I pressed the middle of the directional pad (which usually brings up the phonebook), it put the call on speakerphone.

I connected my son's V3, saved the menu, then connected my V3, and uploaded his mma_ucp to it. That worked, but odd behavior: tried to call my VM, to see if everything was fine. It kept telling me "Call Failed". I can call my other cel # just fine, so it has to be the VM setup for some reason. I have it set to call my own cell #, which has worked in the past; so, I went to a co-worker who has a Blue V3, and grabbed the VM# from her phone (it's an Orlando #.) Put it in mine, now it works.

Really odd that all happened...
