Problems changing outside screen text

I'm trying to change the outside screen in my V551 to a personalised one. I have always used Motokit to do this but Motokit doesn't recognize my V551. It says conected. It identifies the phone but the menu is contracted after the phone connects. I don't know why? It has happened to me with older phones like V60's

. Can somebody help me or tell me how to do it in an alternative way??

Did a most exhaustive search. I'll try instructions for v600. Anyways I always have a backup just in case.

Use P2KTools it wll allow u to change the ouside txt along with other things.
