ok i just got my new V360 today and so far im loving it.. ive already been reading up on the mods and what not people have been doing.. and im wanting to do the same.. now im no stranger to modding, seem editing and all..i did it on my V300 and V600 the USB cable that came with the phone is nice to connect the phone with the computer.. MPT synced well with it, even recognized it, got its pretty lil picture on the desktop and all.. xferred MP3 tones across ok, contacts.

ok when i connect it to my compter via the USB cable on the phone it says its "connected as a storage device and some accessories/applications are not accessible" ???? and the programs that i have dont even recognize the phone so i cant connect em.

P2K Advance Editor will not connect to phone, neither will motokit or bezols P2K.. so what did i do wrong. i spent the majority of the afternoon looking thru the V360 superthread but didnt find anthing related to this.. im with T-Mo here in the US so its just the T-Mobile branded flex/flash .. also when you flas this you can still use PST 6.7 general or the MFF option right? which is best.. ive seen more posts with the PST 6.7 general then pFLEX etc.. anyone recommend a decent flash/flex or monster pack pref. with english language pack.. ive seen a few of them on the posts anything special about them,, basicall something making the UI go a lil faster, allow for more access in options. etc..

any thoughts on why i can get any of those programs to recognize this phone so i can mod,seem edit it would be appreciated...

On the phone, go to USB settings and switch it to phone. I just got my phone today, and this stumped me as well. lol

actually just shortly after i posted this.. i was going thru the phone.. and i correct the problem so now i can go thru it set up etc.. LOL!!!

one thing though i just downloaded a monster pack from gocelluar.org i think its the most recent one on the homepage.. will i still be able to use lik PST using pFLEX or MFF i read in some posts that they used RSD 2.4?? i did a google search but couldnt find a download link.. anyone able to PM a download?

Did you get r4513_g_08.b7.56r_a with language pack 002f? I downloaded that same monster pack before I got my phone, but I noticed my phone didn't show the Other Information, so after I edited the seems to show the phones info it showed that the monster pack was already installed!

So you might want to check first.

yeah i did check the phone status thats one of the first things i checked.. lol mine is a T-Mobile branded phone here in the US

S/W Version: R4513_G_08.B7.86R
language list 0003

there was another few files on here that were the 56R but lang pack 0039 and
S/W Version: SE6161AXXN1018_1FF

but the other question that i had was can i still use like PST and go under pFLEX to replace the firmware i have now? im temtped to go and download one of those files, and see if it will work..

yeah i do.. lol.. its ok but thanks for the input.. i think im going to just leave the firmware alone.. the UI is actually pretty fast with the menu scrolling so im happy and even happier with the mods o just did today!!

Yea, this phone kicks my V330's *** in terms of menu speeds. I just wished I had an American English language pack, but it's just a few odd looking UK words so it's no biggie.
