V635 Problems...

I just bought a V635 off of Ebay (New and unlocked) and have a few questions.

First off after listening to a voicemail, I get a text message that contains 2 symbols. The first looks like a baby-bottle and right after that is a @. Cingular cant even see it on there database so they are no help. There is no address to it but they still keep popping up.

Second, how do I enable MP3's? I cannot find out how to listen to music I upload through the computer.

Also, what is flashing/flexing and is it worth trying that out?

i think your voicemail issue is this "^@" and the fix is done via seem editing:
You need SEEM 0032_0001
Look in offset 2, bit 1 (1 on, 0 off)

Make sure bit 1 is checked for on.
Load it back in phone.
Now your provider's logo should read like before.
VM should be fixed.
