Let's get it straight folks, pricing of phones does not matter if you are new or an existing customer, it depends on whether or not you have a current contract. Assuming you activate service w/ a 24 month contract, you get a subsidized discount on the phone, if 6 months later you find another handset you like better, you don't qualify for another discount until you meet X months of your contract. Not even a new customer can buy a phone without a contract at a subsidized price. If you don't qualify for an upgrade then buck up and pay non-committment price or buy it online. I am sorry to rant but I am tired of hearing people whine about this, GROW UP FOLKS !!
