How do I acces any of my Phone Files on P2K Tools?

How do I go by accessing my phones files on the P2k Tools Program? I would like to mod my gain_table.bin file but I am not sure as to how to do so. I can't even get ANY info about my phone brought up on P2K...it's like it isn't even connecting to my phone. My MPT connects and works though. Can anyone help?

download Motorola PST preferably version 7.2.3_GENERAL (don't ask where to get it).
start PST and it will connect to ur phone, make sure u have all the appropriate drivers installed (most can be found in different threads throughout the forum).
once u have PST open and running start P2K tools and it will connect.
