p2kman and v3c with big files

about 2 weeks ago i wanted to upload some mp3 ringtones to my v3c. there were 2 with a total size of 2.38mb. i used p2k commander to do this. neither of these tones worked as ringtones on the phone, i assumed they were too big, so now i made a smaller version of the one i liked more (this one is about 821kb). as i did before i was going to use p2k commander, i tried about 10 times to read the filelist and every time p2k commander locks up when it tries to process. i then tried using p2kman which gives me an "FileList entry size invalid" error. (i assume the same thing is happening in p2kcom, it just doesn't know how to handle it) and the phone memory is pretty much full b/c of those 2 files. and ideas as to how i can delete those files so that i can regain access to the files on the phone (the verizon ui doesn't have an option for deleting "tunes & tones" 
)
