PLEASE HELP!!! Is reception different between Verizon Treo 650 and Verizon Treo 700w?

Hey everyone,

I just got my girlfriend a Treo 700w for her birthday. She had a Treo 650 before. In our current place, the reception with her Treo 650 was never that great but it seems to be even worse with her Treo 700.

Does anyone have any experience with the signal strength of the 700? Is it actually not as good as the 650? I cannot believe that they would come out with a Treo that has worse reception than their previous model???
