I am trying to transfer ringtones onto my KX434 on eBay.
I have this data cable...the drivers are installed, the phone is on, and I put the phone cord into the headphone slot. However, I have not been able to get any software that can detect this phone. Can anyone get me software that will allow me to transfer ringtones onto it? Whether it be the Kyocera software or not, it doesn't matter, as long as it works
BitPim doesn't support KX434's.

Ok, here's what I did.
This is another Prolific USB-to-Serial COM4 port cables.
So I turn off my phone, put the cable in, and turn it on. Open up BitPim. No phone detected.
I try QPST...no phone detected.
Ringer Media Studio....no phone detected.
Maybe something is wrong with my USB drivers?

Just go and buy the OEM data cable. I dont have a kyocera phone, but i sell the OEM data cables that comes with all the software needed to do all those things.

Bitpim doesnt support alot of our kyoceras. that doesnt mean that we cant use it...normally that is. If u can get it to go into the file system ( just click the file system tab in bitpim) if it pulls it up it doesnt matter if the phone is technically suported. if you dont know where to put the files in the file system do a search here on the forums there are alot of tutorials. if all else fails go for the OEM cable..it works with Bitpim just fine.
