Best Registry editor for WM5 smartphone?

Ok so I need a good registry editor. Are there any that work on your PC when the phone is connected to USB? Also I have seen at least 4 or 5 editors listed in the various forums here, which do you all think is the BEST? Your opinion is much appreciated, thanks.

I use 2 different ones:

Smartione is the one that I use on my desktop to edit the phones registry, and I use PHM Registry Editor on the device itself; it isn't as nice as Resco, but resco has problems editing certain keys.

Smartione looks cool, but the only site I find about it is metropical which is I believe all in french, I would like to read some about the app before I download and use it.

Check modaco, I am pretty sure there was something about it there. The app is in english (and is free) so if I were you I'd just take it for a spin.

Does it work with WM5? looks old and the author/poster was using 2003.

The two OS's aren't that different code-wise... it works perfectly on WM5.

If you go to the french website and register... Here is the link to the Smartione app... When you click the download link its going to be saving a file called 'index.php.' Just save the file and change the extension to .exe and you should be good to go...

Do you have a link? This sounds cool. Oh and BTW the Smartoine reg editor worked fine (most of the rest of the app was incompatible with WM5) but I was able to turn on my edge differentiation icon. I can't tell if its working right, but it did switch from G to E, however it hasn't gone back to G (I haven't been in any GRPS areas most likely) so I can't be 100% sure that its working.
