After one year of not visiting Howards...

It has been 12 months since I last visited HowardsForum.
And my E398 is probably 14 months old now.
I first flashed it using the ANCIENT EyesOnly v398
then after another 1 month lapse I learn of the conversion
to a faux ROKR. And so I converted my phone with the
Shoey's i398 Monster Pack. iTunes then could only hold
a maximum of 25 songs or something.
Before leaving the community, I remember a plan by
some guy with the username of AdrenoPaladini or something
developing something known as cTunes and vTunes. Is it
out now? I kind of lost track of the thread. What is the best
flash to get now since the Shoey's i398 Monster Pack.
cTunes supposingly allows me to just drag and drop songs into
the memory card without the hassle of iTunes... And vTunes
which is most wanted supposingly allows watching videos on
the i398/ROKR E1 fullscreen and landscape.
After looking through the forums once again i saw development
in iTunes expiration and song limit. Currently I have to keep resetting
the date for my phone just to allow iTunes to continue working. T_T
Anyway I would like to flash my phone now and would like
recommendations of newer flashes. I am not sure if i can
just flash right away since my current firmware is the ancient
R373_G_0E.30.1ER. lol So a brief step of flashing to the newer
flash from my current one will be appreciable. Thanks!

Go through the 398 to ROKR conversion guide there, and then pick a MP of your choice

hmmm... After visiting that site, all I see in the Guide is the 42R for All MP there. There isn't a list of its changes features pros and cons. Correct me if i am wrong though.

Create a Backup, Flash 42R_For_All, Create another backup and then flash an MP
www.gocellular.org is a good place to get them, but you have to register to get to the downloads and skins.
