Hi, is there a browser out there can can support frames and port 80?
I have a sp5m on a tmobile network. I use the wifi most often to surf the web, especially for some sites that requires frames, and port 80.

IE-Supports port 80, but doesnt support frames
Opera Mini - Supports Frames but doesnt support port 80.

Cant we just Mesh em together like a mash potato??

HUH? Opera doesn't support port 80? I call BS.

The last time i checked using opera mini, I went to www.xstreamxm.com/mobile to try and acess xm Satallite radio. A week ago, opera was able to open up this site, but when u press "go" to acess the radio itself, it said some sort of error, then followed some ipadress -example 1.1.1.1:80. This had to be a error dealing with port 80. I use wifi to acess the web pages, due to GPRS insufficient speed/ports. Now opera mini ISNT even ABLE to acess that from page, telling me that i have to use pocket internet explorer.

So.....on internet explorer i cant acess the "go" button because it doesnt support frames.

Now, IE can press go button due to no frame support, and opera mini cant load up the front page, telling me to use pocket IE.

Ok, I agree, I need the same solution now. I dind't know xstreamxm existed. I can access the mobile link on my IPAQ H5550 and PIE and stream XM radio, which is cool. I would love to be able to do the same on my 2125.

Pair the 2125 with a boxwave AA battery pack and XstreamXM and you would get satelite radio on the road for quite a few hours.

Using the playlist directly from Windows Media works just as well as XStreamXM.

I don't know how to do this, can you explain?

Sure. Attached is a ZIP file that contains two play lists that can be opened in the Windows Media Player on your Smartphone.

What you need to do is edit these files so that the value following "email=" is replaced with your XM Radio login ID. You must also replace the parameter after "pass=" with your XM login password. This must be done for each of the "channels" located in this playlist.

When you have edited the files, you can transfer them to your Smartphone. You should put them in the "My Documents" folder on the phone, or storage card in the phone (if you have one).

I do not remember who actually created these files. I cannot take the credit, and would give the credit to the individual who actually created the originals...but alas, it's been awhile--and I've forgotten.

thanks for the file ... i see what you mean, just directly connect to the url. Just one thing, i see the url on my playlist, but how/where would i go to edit it? Thanks

Edit the file using a text editor on your PC first, then transfer over to your phone. IMHO this works much better than connecting through PIE or any other browser. The only thing I wish it did was actually display the artist/song info. I even use this on the PC as it is just easier.

Good luck

you might also try to use mobile.minixm.com. I have been using it on my sda with tmobile on edge and all I had to do was set up a proxy server on my home network to get around the port 80 issue.

The play lists work great on my 2125. Thanks a bunch.

Anyone else a little concerned about passing their usernames and passwords through these sites like XstreamXM and minixm?
