L6 Firmware?

I've tried searching and going through all the sites that supposedly have firmware, but the only one I found was a Russian site that doesn't have language pack 0003 (and is missing the Serial Port service on the one working monster pack that gave me working Bluetooth.)

Does anyone know where I might find a proper firmware update for this phone? Thanks.

I also have an L6 and am looking for the same language pack. There are some other forums with a bunch of different flashes.

I know the boot loader is important when doing this.

My current software is:

R3511_G_0A.52.45R_A
Bootloader 08.D0

Can someone shed some light please as to where the language packs can be had.

My SLVR has the same bootloader, which I thought was odd although both phones came from same seller.

So any of these language packs will work, providing that the correct bootloader is there (08.D0)

0001, 0003, 0015, 0016, 001B

If anyone has one of these language packs that will work with bootloader, please post, PM or e-mail..................please!!

does your l6 vibrate when it is on the loud profile when you have a ringtone selected for line 1??

mine doesn't unless i use vibe dot or something with vibe..

I might just need to flash for newer version..

Also what language does the code represent??
I'm interested i chinese and english.. what pack should i look for..

AFAIK it shouldnt vib when on loud, unless you have tweaked with it. Neither mine, nor my G/F's, nor my Razr V3 did.

well that's good to know that it's not just me..

But that's a kick in the balls..
Seeing as how the E398 (Rokr Later version) does vibrate on loud.. and they have similar structure internally..

How can I tweak it?

Language pack 0014 will get both UK English and Chinese Complex
Language pack 0015 will get both US English and Chinese Simple
Language pack 0016 will get both US English and Chinese Complex

I'm also interested in L6 firmware, a monster pack, or a confirmation that the V3 method of seem editing would work on the L6.

The V3 method of seem editing does work fine. Of course many of the seems are going to be different. You can use the same tools.

Anyone have any idea where I might find the Cingular L6 M/P?
I don't want it for myself, I'm trying to do a favor for a friend I work with. He needs a new phone bad, but isn't up for renewal. He wanted an L7 until he saw the "No Contract" price.

He came in the other day asking about the L6 that RadioShack has for now, but damn it's only $50.00 cheaper than the L7! $300.00!!!!! I told him he could get it off ebay for $130-$150.00.

Long story, short; he ain't a tech-junky, he BUY's everything from Cingular, ringtones,wallpapers, etc (I figure his parents pay the bill)

I figure I could flash the OEM L6 to Cingular and everyone would be happy! Cingular will contiue to get his parents money, and he'll get a decent phone for cheap.

gocellular.org has L6 firmwares. I haven't tried them yet as I want to know if any work before I decide to make my phone a paperweight!

I was dumb enough to go to website and use the firmwares they are locked now I am screwed I need an Unlocked L6 Firmware

Your going to have to get the phone unlocked by an unlocking site as there is no flash/flex/Monsterpack that will unlock your phone only lock it.

Check the marketplace. GSM Liberty perhaps? They are a good site and I recomend them.

thats sucks that you locked your phone.. i was just about to mess around with my friends l6.. he would kill me if i locked his phone.

which firmware locked your phone?? I'm glad I haven't tried it yet...there was that one with the russian LP that supposedly doesn't lock your phone to a specific carrier.
