SMT5600 won't Unlock Keys

Everyonce in a while, my SMT5600 won't return from 'locked' mode (where the keys won't take any input). I hit the left soft key ('unlock') but it won't respond.

I have to take out the battery and put it back in.
Sorry if this is a common issue, I couldn't find any information on it -- any suggestions?

yeah that has happened to me a few times also. i just take the battery out and it works again

Next time it happens, check to see if any buttons are jammed.

If any button is jammed in the pressed position it is like the phone is totally locked.

I have found with mine the End button will catch and lock in the pressed position, once I jiggle it with my thumb it lifts and I can again unlock the phone.
