Anyone ever got it work with the i870 yet? I thought it would be cool to have winamp on the phone even though theres already a audio player. I found this from another part of this site. I can install it on my phone, but it can't access any of the mp3's.

just seeing if anybody had any recent news on this. i was unable to get winamp mobile (lightplayer) or itunes mobile to install on my i855. i only have like 8 songs but it would be nice to play them continuously, or even with the phone closed. the media center on the phone will play one song, then you have to hit the down button to go to the next one. i know the phone's not meant to be a music player :-P but if there's a java app out there i'd love to try it out.

The current phones do not have the JAVA API's necessary to access the files stored on the phone I believe...

This should change with the i580.
