Slvr + iTunes - is there a way to use iTunes with an older Mac OS?

I just picked up a Cingular-branded Slvr with one of the major reasons being its iTunes capability. I am using a Mac with OSX 10.2.8. However, I read that to use sync up songs via iTunes, I need to have 10.3.6 or later. Is there an alternative way to transfer songs to iTunes on the phone without upgrading my OS, or am I SOL?

well on the pc, the v3i will not "manually" update a playlist. If the playlist on the phone doesn't match what iTunes told the phone it should be, then it won't play the song.

To be honest, more of a mac question than a moto one, and I think (not sure) that there's a PC forum here and they talk macs, but you'd probably be better off at a mac enthusiast forum. The thing is that most of us here have windows pc's, but maybe someone here can give you a good answer.

In fact, I think that there's a older mac enthusiast forum where they specailize in getting older macs to do new mac stuff
