I have a motorola v260 that I am trying to get connect up via data cable. When I plug up the data cable and phone my computer recognizes the device as a "motorola comp modem #x" "x" being which usb port that I put the data cable into. I can not get any program to recognize my phone with this driver. I have tried changing the driver for this device "motorola comp modem #x" under the "device mananger" but every driver I try to change Windows XP pops up a message saying "this *.inf does not contain any information regarding this device" or something along those lines. I have tried completely uninstalling the device and removing all instances of anything associated with motorola or anything that could cause the device to be recognized as this. I have tried getting the phone to show up under MPT 3.25 and also under P2Kman. MPT can not even find the phone when you first are setting up the program, MPT always ask me if I would like to install the phone manually which I have tried but can not get anywhere with that either. I am almost postive that their is something up with this driver but for some reason I can not get it to change. If you have any suggestions or comments about this subject I would greatly appreciate the help. Also if anyone has some drivers for the Motorola v260 could you please email them to me at nas2g3@aim.com. I have found drivers that are suppose to be compatiable with the v260 but I can not get them to recognize through this device. Starting to get real frustrated with this junk. Thanks in advance.

Thanks,
Stephen
