Why is opera mini not working?

Opera mini loads up but then when i try and go to a website it says cannot connect...

I have a k750i and the wap websites work... opera mini is just refusing to cooperate... why?

got the same problem with a w600i. Everytime I try to connect to the internet with Mini Opera or eMSN, it won't connect at all.

I'm with Roger Wireless.

Well, try to set your java applications to use a connection which is http and not wap. I dont know if in of much help right now but i'll post more details when i'll be on my computer.

It probably is not the problem with the phone. You may not have the proper network setup, did you search the carrier forum for clues?

I had the same problem with my phone in the last month and so did my brother we fixed it by downloading the newest version from the wap site mini.opera.com form the wap browser in the phone.

Opera will not work with a wap connection, it need an internet connection

If you've had it working before but now it doesn't; All you need to do is uninstall you're current opera mini and re-download it from mini.opera.com

If this is you're first time using opera mini and its not working; You need to go to you're java settings and set the internet protocol to http instead of wap.
