painted my sidekick and it looks greeeaat!1 unfortunately i screwed up somewhere on the screen so the screen flip up mechanism is flawed, it doesnt jus pop up ne more as u open it slightly...u need to give it a solid flip....im about to try again on a dif one...see if i might fix the problem, any ideas?

I Painted Mine Too............... I At First Had The Same Problem I Suggest You Wind The Flip Up Mechanism Back Once More B4 You Screw It Back Together!

i have question bout that too, but i didnt paint my ,smh, but for some reason one day my sk2 flip doesnt flip fast, i have to manually flip it open, does anyone know how to fix my flip mechanism?, if any does it would be greatly appreciated....

You need to take off the screen and twist the metal thing 360 degrees.

how do you take the screen off?

to take the screen off, you have to flip your screen 180 degrese...you'll then see two screws behind the screen once the screen is half way up...take those two screws out and slide the scfreen straight up..

It's actually 90 degress since the screen only flips 180 degress while its attached to the device.
