Hi all
I need some help with a Motorola V330. After reading this you will realize that I am newbie and kinda messed things up a bit.
I have the Mobile Phone Tools and P2K. I wanted to remove all the old ringers so I could load up my own. Unfortunately I did not make any backups of the original files from the phone.
My problem is that I got the new ringers on, I am able to select which ringer I want for the default, BUT now when I receive a voice mail or a text message, I don’t get any notification other than the vibration. I would like to change that to a ring notification.
Is this possible? Please, please help.
Don’t know if this is important, I had to do a master clear on the phone, then load up my address book, then the ringers that I wanted using MPT. I then went into P2K and tried to set the ringers in there, but it seems to mess things up and then I don’t get any ringers when a call comes in. I have to then do a master clear, reinstall all the ringers and make sure I set up the default ringer using the phone. P2K seems to disable the default ringer, it does not matter what I change, if I change the text message ring, then when someone calls, it just vibrates again.
One last thing is, when I run through everything and set the default ring, I then check with P2K to see what is showing up in the ring styles, and the default ring I selected through the phone is not the same on P2K – this is weird.

Please advise – I don’t want to buy a new phone.
