mp3s without SD card on 8940?

I was at verizon's store and they mentioned how songs can be downloaded from V-cast to the phone. The guy at verizon told me that you don't need to have a miniSD card to download the music. I was wondering, is there a way using QPST or Bitpm to download full mp3s to the phone without the SD card?
