Ringo Problem: Please help:)

I installed ringo on my phone. I assigned a ringtone from my SD Card to my wife's phone #s but it wont ring with it. It still rings normal. Is there anything special I need to do?

Delete Ringo & get a GOOD program. Ringo is terrible, try Mring instead, it's never given me any trouble.

RINGO PRO is a GREAT PROGRAM. I have had NO ISSUES with Ringo PRO on my TREO 650

Mring kept resetting my TREO 650

but to each his own

ya ringo is pretty cool....is there a difference b/w ringo pro and just ringo? the only thing is that i cant seem to get it to silence the ring when i'm getting a call the way i used to silence it before...any suggestions?

I just slide the switch over on the top when it is ringing or I hit one of the buttons to silence the ringer

I cant seem to get Ringo Pro to work on incoming text message tones. Does anyone have any suggestions that may help?

I have mine set to CTU (24) tone

kinda cool sounding for text messages.

What problems do you have? On ringo pro you can hear each one before you decide on using it

I can select and hear them fine - and I love the interface.
The problem is, that it doesn't play the midi tone I select for individual sms receive text messages. And, it doesn't always play the incoming ringtone I select either. I just uninstalled and reinstalled, and get th esame results.

That is weird. I have had no issues with RINGO PRO. It has worked flawlessly for me

I guess I kinda fixed it, dont know why it was doing this. When I set it up I checked the box match all numbers, that didnt work. Now I have assigned each number the ring and its working great.

I can't even get Ringo to work on my Treo. It reboots my phone when calls come in.

You trying Ringo or RINGO PRO?

I have RINGO PRO and have had no problems.

Actually, I think it was just Ringo, I think I will have to try the Pro version.

A matter of fact any 3rd party app for Ringtones will either work or it won't obviously some people are having problems and some are not. As for my Ringo didnt work most of the time my phone would reset itself in the middle of a call or when an incoming call came in.
So I called the manufacture and they gave me refund with out any questions The rep didnt know why it would work on some phones and not others. I have checked around with palm even tho they sell ringo on their website and they tell me the dont recommend any 3rd party software for the treo 650. It's a crap shoot!

If anyone out there has used any other program as a ringtone manager Please let me know Im willing to try em all till i find one that works.....
