I am considering getting this phone tomorrow to replace my audiovox 5600 thats dead. THe main reason I would get it is for the wifi to use at home and at work. I have read briefly that it has problems connecting to the internet using wifi. Being this is my main reason for purchasing it, how big a problem is it. I have a wireless G router with 32byte wep encryption at home, and work just uses a proxy to connect.

It does have some issues out of the box with going between GPRS and Wi-fi. Also, it's only 802.11b compatible, but there is a hack to get it to work on a G network.

32Bit WEP is there such a thing? And if so, why bother, lol... that's cracked in like 10 seconds. I always thought it was 64, 128 and then WPA and WPA2 (and some other custom 256Bit WEP routers)

I have read of the problems connecting and it doesn't seem to be all of them or any similarities. Just i guess maybe a bad batch?

I meant 64 byte I don't know what I was thinking. I know it only has 802.11B, but does that mean without the hack it won't work at all with G, or that it will just b e at B speeds.
