Considering buying a SLVR phone tomorrow. I get a nice discount for working at Apple.

Coming from a VX8100 on Verizon I will want the ability to save my pictures and movies on the SD card. Is this possible on the SLVR?

you can save files on it but uploading files is excruciatingly slow.

How is it done? Is it a setting on the phone or is it done as a "hack" of sorts?

On my 8100 there's an option in the system settings to use phone or card memory to save...
