Long phone number entries on Verizon RAZR?

I just got a Verizon RAZR and am having a problem.

I need to have some long entries in my phone book for voicemail numbers and a conference call numbers. They need to be long because I'm trying to automate the log-in sequence (e.g., type in the phone number as 800-xxx-xxxx (PAUSE) Login# (PAUSE) Password#). It lets me do this initially and works - I dial and it logs in. But after a while it truncates the number in memory and drops my password so it won't log in any more. Any way to have it keep longer number sequences in memory? My hypothesis as to why it works at first but not afterwards is that it for some reason writes a pause as a 'p' initially but then store it as a '(p)' since I need 6 pauses, those extra 12 characters put it over some sort of character limit that it has.

Any thoughts about how to fix this?

Thanks

store these "special" numbers on the phone - doesn't seem to work if you store them on the simm.

This is on the Verizon phone - does it even have a SIM card? I'm pretty sure the numbers are in the phone memory.

No worries - appreciate the suggestion anyway. My other phone is on TMobile so it seemed reasonable to me.

Still trying to figuire this out though. The manual says nothing on character limits or anything like that. Seems like an annoying but potentially unsolvable issue with the phone's software.
