I've managed to get my hands on a Q phone. Yes, I bought it from Ebay and the person I bought it from helped me get it onto Verizon. It actually has a Verizon logo on the back.

Overall the phone is excellent. The screen is extremely sharp and the keyboard is great. I even managed to get GoodLink up and running on it (although I had to use the cabled install.. the OTA setup didn't work right which I am reasonably sure has to do with running out of memory during the install similar to the problem of the early 2125's prior to release.

On the downside - this phone is dog slow. It's likely that this is a pre-release phone.. in fact, it's still running AKU 1.3 and does not have Direct Push. I don't want to imply that I think the phone will be this slow on release... because I'm hoping that's not the case.

One other thing about this phone annoys the hell out of me - for some reason they put the backspace button above the rest of the keys. Sounds like a minor annoyance, but it will take some getting used to.

Still.. if the speed improves upon release, I will absolutely be using this phone. For now, I'm sticking with my Blackberry 8700 and just using this phone as a secondary phone. I was able to get it working great with ORB btw.

is this phone gsm or cdma?

It's a cdma, guessing from him getting the phone activated on the verizon network.

Can you comment on some of the specs?

1) Battery size
2) processor speed
3) RAM/ROM

Also, is there any bundled software beyond the typical Windows Mobile 5 stuff? (i.e. Clearvue)
