Why is the size just 15mb? i think it should be at least 32mb? Is it a compressed file?

the size is around 32MB, flashbackup will auto compress it to the 15-16 mb

Hello, I'm new to this, and I would like to know why should I upgrade, what changes does it imply, what else should I upgrade, and how risky it is (I bought the phone 3 days ago, I would like it to survive for some time! :-P).
I know perhaps these are silly questions, but I have to learn somehow, hope you help me!

Which boot loader version do i need on my phone to use the fash-backup, i have the standard boot loader from cingular and when i tried to use it said something that i need to update the boot loader first and didn't let me to flash the phone...??

Will this work on an E1 phone (e398)? need to confirm before i flash.

Any images on how does this 47r or 48r looks like? and colud i be provided with the features... Thanks in advance.

Listen to what Iza11 says, this is a rokr thread...
@act_tony: you might want to start reading here

It'll give you some idea of what to expect. At the bottom of the page there's a link to the E398 wiki which has some hints as to what flashing software there is to flash your cell phone. But remember the MPs listed there are NOT for the genuine rokr!!! And check the stickies here at hofo, too!!! Reading yourself for a while might sound like a waste of time but it's the best deal you get in the long run...
