L7 iTunes problem!! I have searched.

I have a Cingular branded L7, when I bought it I kinda got screwed because I only got the phone, 512 card, and charger. Everything works on the phone but iTunes. I have even flashed it and it is the same. I already have an iPod Nano and was told when I hook the L7 up iTunes would recognize it. Here is what happens: When I hit the iTunes button (not hooked to USB) the phone sayes error-not supported on this paltform. When I hook the phone up to the USB the windows goes through autoplay and itunes starts but the phone never shows up as a source. The phone does show up under my computer under storage devices. I have also completely removed iTunes and reloaded it following directions on their website for this issue. I guess I dont know if its the phone, computer, or iTunes. I also tried it on another computewr with the same results. I have the USB setting set to Memory card and have formatted it. Do you think I need the software that came with the phone to get the computer to recognize it? I usually wouldnt PM someone like this but I love the phone and have spent a ton of time trying to get it dialed in to no avail.

I would say you do need the software. Search around the phones manufacturers website. It seems as if you're missing a driver which would cause iTunes to recognize and connect to your phone properly.
