Hi, I'm looking to get this phone but I'm wondering if the owner's claims about vodafone/sharp replacing the CCD Camera is true. Is it covered under warranty?

eek.. unless you are from japan.. have the warranty.. you won't be able to get that replaced.

but then again... i could just send to the relatives in japan and give them instructions, but its too much of a hassle...

that won't work either, you need a receipt that you bought it, and then, if the contract was cancelled, vodafone won't replace it, also if the f/w has been altered from the jap version, the warranty is voided.

get it flashed back and bring it back =)

or you can find a dead 903 or try ebay.. replacement is a swap it plugs in and out the camera piece

guys, what do u really mean by replacing the camera? i really don't understand what ur talking about guys. do u mean that vodafone upgraded the camera of the 903 or is it just in case the camera gets broke? sorry for this noob question.

replacing a broken camera, i could have gotten a 903 for cheap if it would've worked... too much hassle right now though, got finals coming up !

where you get your 903 from borgis/?

borgis, his camera needs to be replaced cause its shaking.. or loose... so either the connector needs to be replaced.. or the camera lens itself.. so thats why this topic of conversation is taking place.

tryin to find a way to solve his issue
