I know this comes a bit late, considering the 904 itself got announced this week, but my review of the 903SH has finally been posted at www.imobile.com.au. Hope you guys like it and it answers any questions that may have been posed but never answered.

nice bro nice.

you got the Atom too eh? I like it.. and i don't like it.. its slow.

Posted by: AL9999

No I don't like the Atom at all. The headphones that come with it absolutely suck, and the thing is pitched as a music PDA. Heaven help the people that buy it

Plus the firmware is glitchy too, I got a test unit with revised firmware but the first one they sold, 80% of the time the PDA just wouldn't power on at all, so pathetic

Anyway, PDAs without some type of keypad make typing messages a nightmare and such. I personally prefer non-smartphones anyway, I'll just use a laptop if I want that kind of functionality.

Hey mate,
Missing some photo's from your review.
The thumbnails work but not the full res ones.
From memory it's the Chivas photos.

yooo nice review. more in depth than any other one i've read. where did you get super bomberman from?????? been looking all over for that game.

Posted by: bronco

that review is making me miss my 903. just wish it was of better build quality.

Posted by: somemale

nice job!!

Posted by: AL9999

I'm told the photos with broken links will be fixed tomorrow, so hang in there.

I got Super Bomberman from Vodafone live! Australia, all my games are legitimate ones from there (except the Zorro one you see there though, had tried a lot of games from republika at the time those pics were taken).

Posted by: AL9999

Ok the three broken photos in my review have now been fixed, for those who wanted to see them. The two interior photos and the last, dark one are now working.

Posted by: AL9999

We've now posted up a five phone camera comparison article on the website which has the 903 being compared against four other common phones: The N6280, N90, O2 Atom and SE W800i. Lots of nice photos taken with all the phones. Enjoy

Nice review...hope future sharp phones will have same features in any country, but i doubt it..japan always want to have there phones unique....

Posted by: break-r

awesome review
3 thumbs up from me (one is my big toe)

Posted by: Timsta

hahaha.. oh lord.. big toe rating

Posted by: lkgonzales

really nice review al. i sure hope the sharp guys back in japan get to read that. the 903sh has the makings of a truly global phone, if only the developers maxxed out its features and capabilities regardless of version. i wonder if the sharp only considers the consumer opinions of users in japan in developing later models... Kudos Al - yours is the voice of the many 903sh enthusiasts from borders beyond sushi-land.

...by the way, i love japanese food...

yea, great review indeed, i keep reading through those paragraphs again and again and gone back to the picture to really look at the difference. it really helps to understand the specialty between each phone and what kind of difference each have compare to each other~~~

great review.. i noticed when you talk about about the camera you mentioned:

"Special scenes allow for photos customised to the location, while shooting modes such as multishot, overlap and bracket modes can help troubleshoot the perfect picture to take."

im guessing that bracketing isnt available on euro firmware? or maybe it is and i just cant find it..

Posted by: Timsta

what do you mean by bracketing? bleh.. i don't know camera terms

bracketing is when the camera takes three pictures in a row. one will be one stop over exposed, the other will be what the camera thinks is the right exposure, and another with the picture slighty under exposed. its for pictures you really want to get right. this way if you were wrong about the exposure the other two should be close to that perfect picture.
