Voice mail indicator

the voice mail indicator on my unlocked pebl, set up with Cingular will not shut off. Have sent a e-mail and then erased it, did not shut off. When I check my e-mail, it says there are no e-mails.

Can anyone help.

could be a text or picture message. the indicators look somewhat alike.

Are you talking about voicemail waiting indicator or the text message one?

If it's the voicemail waiting indicator then......

call your cell # & leave yourself two messages
go & check your voicemails from your cell.......

Problem should be fixed then.
