Well, this is my final attempt at this theme (

), a theme I can't even use!

Before everyone starts bashing me - remember, the original theme was FOR MY CURRENT PHONE (Nokia N90)

, and everyone liked it, so I tried to make it for Low Res handsets. I think this works this time.. I tested it on Mrs Toasters N70 - All the icons work, all the colors work, including the active standby screen, all the text is EASILY readable... but the N70 is obviously an N-Series phone, so compatibility with NON-N-SERIES handsets is questionable. PLEASE POST YOUR RESULTS IN THIS THREAD, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW!

The preview above looks exactly the same on the N70. All the colors are accurate to the preview, all the icons are accurate to the preview.

The new version does only work on nseries :-( will you make it work on 6600/ 6680 as well? I would really appreciate that!

OK... here's the deal. Its not my fault - but its like I said in a previous post.

Using this version of theme studio 3.0, allows me to compile this theme in 1 of 3 different modes. 3.0 compatibility, 2.8 compatibility and 2.6 compatibility. 3.0 and 2.8 will only install on N series phones. The link in the first post of this thread is compiled using 2.8 compatibility mode - and thats why it installed fine on her N70. I forgot it would not install on 668x and older.

I re-compiled it in 2.6 mode, the same theme, which should install on older handsets (668x and below) BUT all the text color information is lost. I just installed it on her N70 again, and this time all the text is back to black, and the folders are the default folders.

Here's my suggestion: someone go to http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/0,,034-301,00.html and download theme studio, and try to re-make this theme in a more compatible version of theme studio - like version 1.2... I think that would be the best and most compatible way to convert this theme.

Personally I don't think this theme deserves all the attention its received

but I didn't mind trying to help out - thats what I'm here for... NO! That what we are all here for!

I sure don't mean to sound arogant or anything like that.... but I'm done with this particular theme.

All my theme creating time and energy is going to go into high resolution themes for N90's - since there are about 1 billions low res themes available from (probably more than) 1 billion web sites all over cyber space. Compared to maybe 50 high resolution N90 themes available on 3? web sites out there SOMEWHERE (which I'm still looking for 2 of them!

Good to know. I've not played with any of the core element files - I've only played inside theme studio. Thanks for the info.

Sorry.. The text is still black. But the icons have changed.. It is readable.
