8125 Backlight malfunction after standby????

Mods please I beg you to not move this thread, I need to know if this is a widespread problem or a software problem so that I can just go ahead and call in for a new phone.

After several hard resets, I've noticed that my phone's backlight does not consistantly respond well to waking up from the standby mode. I have Resco Explorer +Today + Registry Add-in, InCloseMobile, and AgileMessenger, installed. Has anyone had this problem? I'll pick up the phone out of my pocket and press the power button to wake it up and while the screen turns on, the backlight does not! And all I can do is do a soft reset, then it does it again!

I want to make sure its not a result of me adding software or making a registry hack...if you send in a phone they don't believe is defective, they charge you don't they? I guess I better do more testing, it was terrible today though.

I will not move this thread, but you can contribute to the issues/troubleshooting thread. Why have that thread if everyone still feels their isolated issues warrant a whole seperate thread?

There are enough threads on the 8125 and there are members in here that are as equally as displeased, but at the fact that everyone keeps starting individual threads that are taking over the phone forum. Meet everyone else in the middle that want their needs addressed as well without getting their topics pushed to the bottom in a matter of minutes and contribute to an already existing thread that is more than suitable and sufficent for your toipc.

You can also feel free to just post your topic over in the PPC forum of Hofo, as their is less traffic over there.

Its either the PPC forum OR the issues/troubleshooting thread, take your pick.
