ABSOLUTE EASY FIX FOR DUST IN V3 RAZR
It's absolutely simple to do and I do it everytime I need to clean the LCD of dust! Get a exact-o knife, or in my case, I used a stainless steel dentist tooth pick thingy. Open the phone and slowly and gently pulled up that whole silvery square, marked with the word Motorola. It comes up and off with no problem, clean it and place it back on. There's adhesive holding it and it will reattach flawlessly! Trust me, it's simple and I guaratee you'll be wondering what took you so long to try it. IT'S SIMPLE and WORKS PERFECT!!!

Ya, but nobody seems to be listening because they keep asking the same question.

Also, you need not buy a new screen. After cleaning it, just reattach because there's plenty of adhesive which I believe will enable you to clean, reclean and clean again several times without having to buy a new screen.

but it's still not a permanent fix eh ?
if dust is getting in don't you have to fill the sides with more foaming stuff to keep the dust from getting in ?

I doubt there is a permanent solution to prevent it from ever happening again to these RAZR's, so simply cleaning it as needed will do the trick until such time Motorola takes responsiblity for this problem and resolves it once and for all.

We shouldnt have to take off the cover and clean it.. Its a new phone.. I paid good money for this phone and i'm not going to operate on a new phone due to poor design.. Everyone needs to complain to Motorola about the dust problem...
