Rokr E1 Problem

I bought my wife a Rokr E1 off Ebay for Christmas. It's from overseas, I think Hong Kong, but I'm not sure. It came with the 128mb memory card. The problem she's having is some of the songs she tries to listen to through the Itunes program on the phone, they'll play for a little while and then cut-off. I've tried playing them simply using the phone's multimedia menu and they do the same thing. The error message I get when I try to play them through the phone's multimedia is "file format not supported." But they are the same format of other songs that will play all the way through (MP3 128Kbps). I have Windows ME so I had to find some other program to load songs on the phone and I have been using Mototunes. Could it be the Mototunes program? The memory card? Or maybe the phone? Has anyone else ever had this problem? Is there something else I could try?

convert them to aac format. i had this on a couple of songs too, converting it fix the problem.

for me anyway, btw i converted them throught Itune 6, not mototune.

I was going to try converting them to wav format but never got around to it. And Windows ME doesn't support any Itunes software though. That's why I'm using mototunes (just for loading the songs to the memory card/phone). I have a memory card writer/reader and I tried adding songs using that also. But Itunes doesn't recognize them once they're on the phone. Huh?

I wouldnt convert them to wav the files are far to big and will fill your card up in a few tracks

Is there any other program for Windows ME that I can use to load songs onto this phone besides Mototunes?

If your not fussed about using itunes you can load them straight into the phones memory, open my computure after pluging in the usb and you should get a removeble e/drive open that go into mobile then just drag and drop you music into sounds flder

But the Itunes program in the phone will not recognize those songs without the Itunes database in phone being updated and there is no way to do that without using mototunes.

It doesnt need to, just play them on the phones mp3 player

So if I try the .aac conversion and load the songs through the computer using "My Computer" the songs will load onto the phone and play all the way through?
