hey all,

i've recently acquired a previously owned fido hiptop. I don't use a windows based PC or laptop so i was wondering what options i have out there.

whatever it is that you do to your hiptop on a windows pc (transfer pics, sync calendars, that sort of thing)

there is no pc syncing on the hiptop, its all done through the web via fidohiptop.ca

i take it that i wouldn't have access to that website? I don't see an option to register so it must be something that you gain access to if you're the original purchaser or pay the $20/month hiptop option?

Huh? What about Intellisync? It's a $20 option that syncs your calendar, contacts and to-do lists to Outlook on your PC. There's a link to it on every Fido hiptop user's Jump Page!

There's a similar solution for Mac called the Missing Sync for hiptop:

Unfortunately Fido isn't offering it for hiptop users. You're welcome to sign the petition I've started:

... But with only 40 signatures so far it doesn't look like Fido will take us very seriously.
