yeah so i have sidekick II prepaid .. Um i have never made one call on it or bought any games,apps, or ringtones but when i check my balance by doing #999# it says i have cents. How can i have cents on my balance when its $1 subtracted from lets says the $25 prepaid card u bought. Does text messaging cost if u send them to other people except tmobile or does it cost sending/receiving in general?? and on tmobile.com it says domestic text messaging is included in the sidekick pricing .. sorry if i'm being a pain with my questions :-\

As long as you have that SIM card setup for a SK2 plan, you are not charged for any data services. The only charge will be for voice calls and catalog purchases.

ooo ok .. thanks for the help .. yeah my sidekick is setup for data services .. so idk why the cents show up but w.e lol

Not being insulting..but you know that SK2 service is subtracting a dollar a DAY right? Whether you use the device or not?

If that doesn't explain your low balance..call ToGo Customer Service. They will be able to explain how charges are eating your available balance.

yeaaah .. i know that $1 is subtracted everyday.. and if thats the case then if i sstart with $25 .. then two days later it should be at $23 .. not like $23.85 .. but thanks for everything bye

Whoa. You first post that you had "cents" and now you say it's essentially calculating correctly, but only off by .15c??

i don't know iff that is correct .. calm down .. i was just using that as an example . i'm only wondering where the cents even come from .. cause it makes no sense why show up

You don't even know if what you posted is correct?

I "suggest" that the next time, before you post a "Wolf!" post..you make sure that what you are posting is correct. Otherwise, you'll find that people will blow off your posts like a bad smell.

I am with the original poster... i also have a sidekick, prepaid, and yet i get wierd balances even though it should only be the $1 a day. More or less it's in the right ballpark so i dont bother to inquiry about it, but i hear what he says.
