v3i, worth the extra money? & y?

i've been looking for a phone this past month and all the phones i wanted are good but the v3i always comes in my head. and i always think im gonna regret it if i dont get it. but wats stopping me is that the price of a v3i and a regular v3 is pretty big. i want to kno if the v3i has that many big upgrades from the regular v3.

PS.: if u guys have any suggestions it will be reatly appriciated, the budget is 400$ Canadian. (with transportation and all other fees)
