hey ya'll, i'm looking at 1 and 2gb mini sd cards and was wondering if the cingular 8125 could actually utilize the speed increase in a 60x (or anything faster than normal) card vs a normal sandisk "1x" card? they're a little more expensive, but if i'm gunna put down $60-$100, i want to buy something that'll be good, but not a waste if it can't noticeably handle the higher write/read speeds
thanks!

Naah, its no good. Only a few devices can use the high speed, most SD devices aren't built with the high speed standard in mind. Save your money for a higher capacity card.

I just received my 1GB 60X miniSD card from Newegg.com for something like $61 or so shipped.
I probably didnt need to splurge on the high speed version of this card, but I figured if I was gonna invest the $$$ in yet ANOTHER form of memory card that it might as well be one of the better ones.

i just won an auction for a 2gb 150x miniSD for 88 shipped. you can find them for under 100 I consider anything under 100 a good deal. especially for a 2gb.
meaning set a budget and just go for the best there.
