I found a sidekick 2 for sale but I don't have a contract with tmobile, so I don't have a sim card at all....

I want to know where can I get a sim card at? Will tmobile give me one if I bring in the sidekick 2 to get it activated? Or will I have to buy it from somewhere else? thanks.

You can take the phone to a T-mobile store and they will set everything up for you. Yes they will give a sime card to put in your sidekick and they will give a plan.

That sim card will run you about 30 or 40 bucks and if you get a t-mo to go sim you have to buy the phone and thats at whatever price they sell the phone to you.

gas stations sell t-mo to go phones for like 30 bucks with 150min.

You can walk right up..and being suitably humble... and not acting like a gangsta...

Ask nicely.

And they might just give you one. Free. Because you smiled at them and were NICE.

Acting nice and being corteous always works for me when I need a SIM.

Try it. You might like it.

And you might be amazed at the response you get from others.

(seriously) I have done a ton of customer service. If you are nice to me, I will cut you deals because you made my day that much easier to get through.
