I have bought an sl65 and i dont know what the phonecode is, i have vast knowledge of how to mod motorola phones and i know you can find out the phone code through certain software for motorolas but i dont know how to do this for an SL65, please help me.

It appears that your phone is locked. And as such you should be able to make it
lock free with data cable and proper software. Google is your friend

I;ve had the exact problem, what i did was i had to get it unlocked, thats the best way.

phonecode has nothing to do with operator locks.

ajay16: there is NO default phonecode on Siemens phones, you set it yourself the first time you're asked to do so.
Note that if you bought it second-handed, the previous owner might have set the phonecode and if so you would have to ask him.

If you enter the wrong code 3 times, the phone will get locked and you have to contact Siemens for a code that opens it again.
