Audiovox 5600 Send Recordings

I have made a voice resording on my Audiovox SMT5600 phone. I would like to send that recording to my email, but can't seem to figure out how. When I create a new email or test message and go to Menu-->Insert Recording I am only allowed to insert a message I record at that time. How can I insert recordings that were previously made? Can anyone help?

you need to go to where the recording is saved, once there: 'menu', 'send', 'send via email'

That was my first thought, but that's not an option in the menu. Under Menu all I have is: play, record, rename and delete. the only place I can see the file is when I go to Voice Recorder. i have also tried creating an email and inserting a recording (that option is available in the menu), but when I do that it says I have no recordings (although I have 3). Any other suggestions?

I am relatively new to this phone but follow this:
Start-More-File Manager
-navigate to the Storage folder and open it.
-navigate to the My Documents folder and open it
-navigate to the Notes folder and open it - this is where your recording resides

For some reason, Voice Recorder saves the recording with the "hidden" attribute. Therefore you need to change the settings of File Manager to show hidden files.

To show hidden files (while in File Manger) select Menu - Options
-scroll down to the File browser settings
-uncheck Hide hidden files
-select Done

Now you will see your recording files - scroll to highlight the one you want to send via e-mail - select Menu - Send - Send via E-Mail

That should do it (if I didn't miss anything). If it doesn't work for you, re-post and I will go through it step-by-step on my SMT5600

I had tried the file manager before but to no luck. Turns out my "hide hidden files" was turned on. Thanks for the help.
