Hi, I'm having a problem too with my V3X phone .When i'm closing the flap suddenly the phone will display a white screen and the return to his previos state. If the flap is closed hard it will stop to react and it will be necesary to restart it. If i'm closing slow the flap with little care everything it's fine. What is the problem?

Sounds like something you'll need to send to Motorola. Thats not normal at all.

yeah u are going to have to send it back to motorola. i had two v3x's and neither me them had that problem

That happened to me when I first got my razr and I took it back to cingular and they swapped me a new one.

I have this problem with my V3X as well. However sometimes it doesn't restart, it just turns off. The flap doesn't need to be closed either, the phone will be open and just randomly restart.

Re-opening old thread, I am having this issue now also.

Sometimes, I'll be on a call and unplug the charger, phone turns off. Or, I'll finish a call, close the phone, the phone just reboots. Open it, get white screen, close it too fast, it's off again and rebooting.. What the heck. How do I contact motorolla about this, i bought the phone from a retailer who sells lots of over seas phones here in chicago.

This is a battery or SIM connection problem.Try to better fix those two with a paper or something,it's working !!!!.I don't have this problem no more after that.

i sent mine back to motorola for this problem (among others) and they replaced my battery...so yeah, i'm guessing it's a battery connection issue....
