I got the data cable and got the drivers installed. When I hook it up it says it is charging which I think is a good sign. Now I just need to know how to transfer files from my computer to the phone?

how did you hook the data cable up?All I got was the actualcharger(one side plugs into the wall,the other into the phone)and a little tiny piece that looks like a mini USB thingy.

buy a 5 pin mini usb cable. they are 15-20 bucks.

I would recommend that you purchase Motorola Mobile Phone Tools.

Man thats 30 bucks! I bought that cable thinking it would work automatically and I wouldn't have to buy anything else
