I'm looking to buy a new unlocked phone, and I've narrowed it down to either the SE w900, w800, or w810. But now, I can't narrow it down further. What would you recommend, and why? Also, are there many differences (spec-wise, not asthetically) between the three? And finally, can you suggest a retailer in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) who would have these phones (and have the w810 upon release)?

BTW, I threw in the w800 because if there are not many differences between that and the w810, I'd rather get that and save some money.

What do you want in your phone? Do you need the quad-band functionality of the w810? (specifically the 850 band).

Feature-wise, my understanding is that they are similar. 850 band is something that I would like to have, but isn't as important, since I'm using Rogers. When would the 850 band be useful (i.e. what areas)?

Well if you are going to stay mostly in urban areas, the 1900 band will be fine. It's once you get out in to rural areas where you need the 850 band. I was in a town about an hour away from Ottawa with my k750 (no 850 band) and I got little to no reception.

if 850 isnt an issue definatly get the w900. nice screen, insane ammount of memory, and video playback is wonderful.

I just purchased a w800i and im loving it. Imo, w900 is way too expensive at this point. I would only think about buying if the price went down to around 500-600. Then again, if you can afford it, id go for it. Basically the same phone but more space.
