s710 Can't hear and blinking light

When I make calls I don't hear anything. It appears on the phone that everything is working (i.e., calling, connecting), it even looks like the call has been answered by the other party. When I asked who I called what they heard they said they just heard a constant tone. Also, the battery light is constantly blinking red even after a full charge. I don't know if the two are related, but probably are. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, someone please help. What should I do? I don't have insurance, but can I maybe claim defect? I've had the phone for 9 or 10 months.

I would suggest you to try a master reset, and hope and see if that works, if not take it to a SE service center, and well, if indded your are out of warranty, maybe they would only charge you to repair it.
