Ok, I've been experimenting with flashbackup 2.62 and my v3c to try to get the firmware off. Every time the phone is connected, flashbackup freezes or closes or just says phone not connected. However when I boot the phone in bootloader mode, flash backup connects. When I press create backup the phone resets and fb goes back to phone not connected mode or freezes up. Anyone have any better luck?

While using the FlashBackup program... keep holding down the * and # keys... you will beable to download your backup file...

Huh? It works for me.... I use the 'charging drivers' though... which is why I have to do that, since restarting the phone while it is charging causes it to hang at the 'charging' part when using this program.

Doesn't work for me either, I tried but when I click create it reboots my phone. Any ideas on how to make a back up?

I KNOW THE ANSWER!! All you have to do is put the phone in bootloader mode first. connect it to your computer. THEN open up flashbackup 2.62 it should say phone connected. if you're going to make a backup, make sure that the "choose loader" thing is UNCHECKED. I am not going to go into anymore detail because it is almost 12 o'clock in the morning and I am typing on the nintendo Wii Console, but i know these steps because I just did it today from the instructions from some on HoFo
