Got a SK1 today- help with charging?

heyy,

yea yea i know im a little slow on the SK rage but a friend gave me his old SK1 today knowing that i always wanted one. But he kept the charger for his Sk2.

I noticed it had a Mini Usb port, i tried to charge it from my laptop nothing appeared. Is there a way to somehow get it to charge via Mini USB, im willing to do anything since as of now its dead.

Or any other ways to get power to it?

No. USB port was only for Developers to upload data/proggies into the device. Users need not apply.

Go to a T-Mobile store and get an SK2 charger..same plug/voltage.

This cable will work, I've made them before, but note you're just applying power from a PC USB jack into the *charger port* of the device. That's the only way to charge the device, as stated it's not possible to charge it via the mini-USB connector on the device.
