Transfering TXT messages to new phones?

I just upgraded both my wife's and my Motorola cell phones to a newer model. I have Motorola Phone tools v. 4.0. I was wondering if there's anyway copy my quick notes from the old phone to the new one through my PC?

No, MPT will let you back up your text msg's onto your computer, but they can't be transferred back to the phone. If you have a GSM phone, then its possible that the txt msg's are being stored on the SIM card, and if you move your SIM card over, those will show up in the new phone.
